One "Star Wars" rumor making the rounds this week may have found some weight. German site Star Wars Union reportedly attended a Hasbro event this week detailing the future of the company's products - amongst which are "Star Wars" toys for Disney.
A loose "release schedule" for "Star Wars" related films for the rest of the decade was apparently revealed at this meeting, a list that indicates the first two spin-off films would be Boba Fett and Han Solo origin tales.
More intriguing though is that there is also a listing for the recently revealed third spin-off film in the works. What could that be? The project is referred to as "Red Five" which was Luke's call sign in 'A New Hope' and indicates the film could be about an X-Wing fighter squadron. Here's the full listing:
2015: Episode VII
2016: Boba Fett
2017: Episode VIII
2019: Episode IX
2020: Red Five
So how valid is this? Several popular "Star Wars" news sites like Jedi News and Making Star Wars posted the story and were shortly after asked to take it down by the powers that be. Neither site has explained the removal, which indicates it's either true and the studio wants to bury it, or completely false. Either way, it's more than just "another rumor" it would seem.
