"Carlos" star Edgar Ramirez is set to take on the role of Bodhi in the upcoming remake of "Point Break".
Patrick Swayze made the role famous in the original, and Gerard Butler was slated to take on the role in the remake until scheduling conflicts saw him depart last week.
The hunt began for a replacement with Ramirez quickly drafted. Alcon Entertainment co-founders and co-CEOs Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove made the announcement of his casting this morning.
