Larry Wilmore is set to serve as host of "The Minority Report," the new news satire show that will fill the post-"Daily Show" time slot when Stephen Colbert's "The Colbert Report" wraps its run.
'Minority' is described as a comedic look at news, current events and pop culture from unique perspectives not typically on display in late night television with the help of a diverse panel of voices.
Jon Stewart and Wilmore will serve as executive producers. More details will be revealed at a later date.
Wilmore joined "The Daily Show" in 2006 and serves as the comedy show's "Senior Black Correspondent". Wilmore has also written for shows such as "In Living Color" and "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, co-created "The PJs" and "The Bernie Mac Show," and was a consulting producer on NBC's "The Office".
