Casting: Franco, Spencer, Langella, Goodman

The Disaster Artist
Seth Rogen has revealed that not only is James Franco producing and directing, but he also plans to star in the film adaptation of Greg Sestero's book "The Disaster Artist".

The book deals with the making of Tommy Wiseau's masterpiece of bad cinema "The Room". Rogen also says two well-known writers were recently hired to adapt the script. [Source: SlashFilm]

Las Madres
Octavia Spencer will join Leslie Mann in "Las Madres" which is also currently seeking a director. Scott Stuber and Dylan Clarke are producing.

Lona Williams and Pam Brady penned the story which follows three unemployed women who decide to hunt down a wanted criminal who has a hefty reward out for his capture. [Source: Variety]

The Driftless Sea
Frank Langella will join Anton Yelchin and Zooey Deschanel in Zachary Sluser's romantic drama "The Driftless Sea" at Unified Pictures and Bron Studios. Shooting begins next week in Vancouver

The story follows a young romance threatened by a crook and his bag of loot. John Hawkes, Alia Shawkat and Ciaran Hinds also star. [Source: Screen]

Transformers: Age of Extinction
John Goodman and Ken Watanabe will lend their voices to the voice cast of "Transformers: Age of Extinction" at Paramount Pictures. Goodman will play the Autobot Hound while Watanabe will play Drift.

Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, John DiMaggio, Mark Ryan, Robert Foxworth and Reno Wilson also lend their voices to robots in the film which is scheduled to open June 27th. [Source: Heat Vision]
