They've both just been filming a new adaptation of Shakespeare's "Macbeth," and now filmmaker Justin Kurzel and actor Michael Fassbender are poised to re-team.
Deadline reports that Kurzel is in talks with New Regency and Ubisoft to take the helm of the live-action film adaptation of the video game series "Assassin's Creed".
Fassbender has been attached to star in the film for sometime and both he and Kurzel are reportedly eager to get production started.
Kurzel is an Australian filmmaker best known for the acclaimed true story drama "Snowtown". He was previously slated to helm an adaptation of John Le Carre's spy thriller "Our Kind of Traitor" but Susanna White has now taken over that project.
