The first promo trailers have arrived for three high-profile, upcoming TV projects. The first is NBC's new pirate drama "Crossbones" starring John Malkovich as Blackbeard and Richard Coyle as an assassin masquerading as a physician. Think "Black Sails" with a lot less nudity and blood. It is scheduled to premiere May 30th.
The next is for Syfy's "Dominion," a TV series spin-off of the 2010 supernatural feature "Legion". Set 25 years after the end of the film, newly fortified cities have arisen to protect human survivors from warring angels.
Finally there's the first trailer for Lifetime's TV movie "Petals in the Wind," the follow-up to their adaptation of V.C. Andrews' "Flowers in the Attic" earlier this year. Set a decade on from the first, Ellen Burstyn and Heather Graham reprise their roles, while Rose McIver and Wyatt Nash take over in the roles of Cathy and Chris.
