NBC has announced air dates for its two-part, four-hour "Rosemary's Baby" miniseries. The first part premieres 9pm on Mother's Day - Sunday May 11th, the second a few days later at 9pm on Thursday, May 15th.
It's a highly competitive timeslot for the Zoe Saldana-led series, competing with the "Penny Dreadful" premiere & "Revenge" season finale on Sunday along with the "Elementary" and "Grey's Anatomy" season finales on Thursday. [Source: NBC]
TNT has given the green light to "The Librarians," a ten-episode series follow-up to the network's hit "The Librarian" telemovie trilogy. A late 2014 premiere is being targeted.
Rebecca Romijn has joined the cast in the female lead opposite returning champ Noah Wyle who will only recur (due to his "Falling Skies" commitments). "Fast Five" helmer is set to direct the pilot and executive produce the hour-long drama "Radiant Doors" for WGN, Perfect Storm Entertainment and Gaumont International Television. The project has a script against a series commitment.
The project is based on an adaptation of the short story by Michael Swanwick about refugees in a dystopian future Leading scribe Jeremy Doner will also serve as executive producer. [Source: Screen]
Girl Meets World
The first trailer has arrived for Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World," the sequel to the popular sitcom "Boy Meets World" with the kid leads from that 1990s series (Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel) now playing the grown-up leads in this one.
At least three of the original characters and actors from the sitcom - Mr. Feeny (William Daniels), Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong) and Minkus (Lee Norris) will guest star in the first season.
