One week before filming was scheduled to begin, Daniel Craig has abruptly dropped out of the courtroom drama "The Whole Truth".
The Boston Globe reports that early production on the film has now been halted and the start date is likely to be pushed back by three weeks while director Courtney Hunt and the producers scramble find a new leading man.
Actors Renee Zellweger and Gabriel Basso are locked into their roles, but some of the other supporting cast like Danny Huston are also no longer a certainty in the wake of the delay.
No reason has been given for Craig's departure from the film which would've seen him as a lawyer defending his teenage client over a charge of murdering his wealthy father.
Craig is scheduled to film the next James Bond film late this Fall.
