Casting: Gerald, Toro, Cumberbatch, Choi

Ant-Man
Matt Gerald has joined the cast of Edgar Wright's "Ant-Man" for Marvel Studios. Paul Rudd, Patrick Wilson, Michael Douglas and Michael Pena star in the project which begins filming shortly.

Gerald is slated to play a villain, though it's uncertain if it's the 'White Power Dave' character he played in Marvel's "All Hail the King" one-shot short the other month. [Source: Deadline]

Sicario
Benicio del Toro is in final negotiations to co-star with Emily Blunt in Denis Villeneuve's thriller "Sicario". Taylor Sheridan penned the script while Basil Iwanyk will produce.

The story follows an officer from Tucson, Arizona who travels to Mexico with a pair of mercenaries to track down a drug lord. [Source: Variety]

Richard III
Benedict Cumberbatch is set to play Richard III in BBC2's planned follow-up to "The Hollow Crown" telemovie trilogy. Dominic Cooke will helm while Sam Mendes will produce the proposed trilogy of Shakespeare adaptations which encompass Richard III and Henry VI in two parts.

Funnily enough, his "Sherlock" and "Hobbit" co-star Martin Freeman is also set to play Richard III onstage at London's Trafalgar Studios. [Source: The Guardian]
