Matthew Goode's Finn Polmar character has been upgraded to a series regular for the rest of the current fifth season of CBS' "The Good Wife".
Following in the wake of last Sunday's tragic on-screen events, Goode's character was created to ensure the series would still have a good balance of estrogen and testosterone going forward.
In the series, Finn works for the State's Attorney office and one of the subplots is expected to be said office's search for a scapegoat to blame for Sunday's incident.
There's no word as yet whether Goode will stay on for a sixth season.
