The Last of Us: Definitive Edition
PlayStation's Eurasian software market manager tells CNN Turk that a PS4 version of "The Last of Us" is coming this Summer. No price point was revealed.
The package includes first game and the 'Left Behind' DLC, boasts enhanced visuals, and will apparently be available as physical and digital copies. Neither Sony or Naughty Dog have yet to confirm/deny the report. [Source: AGB]
A new featurette is out for Creative Assembly's upcoming single-player survival horror game based on the classic Ridley Scott film. The game is slated to launch later this year on PS3, PS4, 360, XB1 and PC.
The company is taking a lo-fi sci-fi approach, to the point that no technology developed after 1979 will be included, so all the tech seen is "push-button... clunky, glitchy and imperfect."
That included filming game content on VHS tapes and playing it back on old CRT televisions, and incorporating that footage back in to the game to give it the feel of the original film
Game of Thrones
Telltale Games say their upcoming "Game of Thrones" video game will use the same time period as the show. CEO Dan Connors tells Digital Trends:
"I think the show provides a timeline, but the world is huge. You're talking about the politics of an entire– it's like Europe and some other continent. There's so much going on and it's so rich. Every decision that King Joffrey makes impacts so many people. Any microcosm in that world [looking at how] people are affected by the decisions that are made plays out across the whole thing."
