During a shareholders conference call, Disney CEO Bob Iger has confirmed that both "The Incredibles 2" and "Cars 3" are in the works at Pixar.
No further details are available, beyond the promising news that the first "The Incredibles" director Brad Bird is currently working out a story for the sequel. The new comes following yesterday's announcement of a 3D re-release for the first film.
Both projects have been rumored for some time, this is the first official confirmation of their existence though. Pixar have release slots in June 2017, November 2017, and June 2018 already booked - at least one of these films could arrive in those slots.
