Warner Bros. has acquired the film rights to David Menasche's memoir "The Priority List". Steve Carell is attached to star and produce.
Menasche was a Miami high school teacher who was told in 2006 that due to brain cancer he had only months left to live. Thanks to surgery and chemo, he was able to extend that.
In 2012, he decides to embark on a cross-country journey to reconnect with former students and come to terms with his illness. He is still alive today.
Charlie Hartsock and Vance DeGeneres will also produce.
