A new trailer hits in a little over a week for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," but the film itself has already won an honor.
In a poll conducted on Rotten Tomatoes of the most anticipated films of this Summer, the new "X-Men" film came on top with 110,869 votes. It came in ahead of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" in second along with "How to Train Your Dragon 2," "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes," "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Godzilla" rounding out the top six.
Actor Josh Helman, who plays a young William Stryker in the film, tells IGN that he was originally hired to play a young Juggernaut in the film.
"I originally got hired on a different role, which is no longer in the script -- it was going to be young Juggernaut. So I was like, 'Oh, shit. I've got to put on like 30 pounds!' So I was training for like four weeks, and then I got a phone call saying, 'Good news and bad news. Bad news first: Juggernaut's no longer in the script. Good news: They're having trouble with another role and they want to see you for it.'"
In other 'Days of Future Past' news, new stills from the movie have gone up over at Total Film.
