Van Damme To Twin Up For "Expendables 4"?

Despite his villain character of 'Jean Vilain' meeting his demise in "The Expendables 2," action star Jean-Claude Van Damme says he'd be open to an idea floated around - that he'll return as the character's twin brother.

Van Damme famously played twins in both the action classic "Double Impact" and the less well-regarded "Maximum Risk". Fan site Expendables Premiere has discussed the idea ever since the end of the last sequel, but now Van Damme has responded:

"I had a great time shooting The Expendables 2 with Mr Stallone and other big action stars. Mr. Stallone is an inventive man. He may even create a stronger character than Claude Vilain, the twin brother of Jean Vilain.

Some fans ask me if the next Vilain - if there is a next - is going to be a good guy or a bad guy. I would leave it to Mr Stallone to decide, as I trust his way of imagination."

Of course, a fourth "The Expendables" is still along way off considering the third doesn't hit until August. But the site also reports that producer Avi Lerner and Sly are intending the fourth film to be the last in the franchise.
