Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o reportedly with J.J. Abrams only a few weeks ago for a female leading role in the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII" at 20th Century Fox.
The Mexican-born, Kenyan-raised, Yale graduate's feature debut was in 'Slave' so the actress is reportedly taking her next film choice very seriously.
Details of the role are unknown, but one is thought to be that of the non-Caucasian role of a descendent of Obi-Wan Kenobi. It's a role separate from the two leading male and female characters in their twenties.
Abrams is still meeting with actors with several leads which remain uncast.
