Joel Edgerton has joined the cast of Anton Corbijn's period drama "Life". Shooting began recently in Ontario, Canada.
The story follows the friendship between photographer Dennis Stock (Robert Pattinson) and actor James Dean (Dane DeHaan) when Stock was commissioned to photograph the star for Life magazine in 1955.
The assignment took the pair on a photographic journey from Los Angeles to New York and on to Indiana. Edgerton will portray Magnum Photography editor John Morris, who brokered the deal for the photos.
Corbijn is directing from a script by Luke Davies ("Candy"). Shooting started recently in Ontario, Canada.
