Amanda Seyfried has scored the female lead in Seth MacFarlane's "Ted" sequel which is scheduled for a June 26th 2015 release.
According to MacFarlane, Mila Kunis' Lori Collins character from the first film will either not appear, or only have a brief cameo in the upcoming film. The decision is said to be an entirely creative one.
MacFarlane returns as writer, director and vocal co-star in the follow-up to the first film, the highest-grossing original R-rated comedy of all time.
Seyfried and MacFarlane just co-starred together in MacFarlane's second feature film "A Million Ways to Die in the West".
