Tom Wilkinson, Tilda Swinton and Sydney Pollack have joined George Clooney in the independent legal thriller "Michael Clayton" reports Production Weekly.
"The Bourne Supremacy" screenwriter Tony Gilroy makes his directorial debut on the project which has Clooney as an elite New York attorney knicknamed "The Janitor" because for 15 years he's worked behind the scenes to clean up his high-profile clients' messy personal problems. The story takes place over the four worst days of his career.
Principal photography is scheduled to begin in January in New York City. Section Eight, Samuels Media, Mirage Enterprises and Castle Rock Entertainment are all producing.
