Following last week's news that Ben McKenzie has is set to star as a young Jim Gordon in the upcoming Batman-prequel series "Gotham" for Fox, further casting announcements have been made.

Robin Lord Taylor ("Another Earth," "Accepted") is set to play Oswald Cobblepot, the future 'Penguin', a highly intelligent and exceedingly polite, but morally bankrupt and power hungry psychopath who works for gangster Fish Mooney.

Sean Pertwee ("Dog Soldiers," "Event Horizon") has scored the role of Bruce Wayne's butler Alfred Pennyworth. In this version, Alfred is a tough-as-nails ex-marine from East London who loyally served the Waynes and is now fiercely protective of the recently orphaned young Bruce Wayne.

Zabryna Guevara ("Burn Notice," "The Guilt Trip") has scored the role of Captain Essen, Gordon's boss at the GCPD, while Erin Richards ("Open Grave," "Breaking In") has landed the role of Gordon's fiancee Barbara Kean.
