TV ratings champ "The Walking Dead" return for the second half of its fourth season on AMC on Sunday night and, despite stiff competition from the Winter Olympics coverage, lost no steam.
A whopping 15.8 million viewers tuned into the broadcast, only a tiny bit shy of the record 16.1 million viewers who tuned into the fourth season premiere in the Fall. 'Dead' also won the night in the key adults 18-49 demographic with an 8.3 rating, way above the 6.9 rating of the Olympics.
Meanwhile, companion talkshow series "The Talking Dead" hit a new premiere high with 5.9 million viewers.
