Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart will lend their voices to the main characters in an untitled 3D animated pets film from "Despicable Me" creators Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures.
The action comedy is set in a Manhattan apartment building where the dogs hang out together while the humans are off at work or school.
Louis C.K. plays a quick-witted terrier and Stonestreet is a sloppy mongrel, the pair end up on the the mean streets of New York where Hart's adorable white bunny character is the leader of an army of abandoned pets seeking revenge.
Much of the 'Despicable' franchise will be onboard including writers Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, and director Chris Renaud who co-helms with Yarrow Cheney.
Chris Meledandri will produce. Universal has locked in a February 12th 2016 release.
