Casting: Dawson, Hauer, Neeson, Alexander

Clerks III
Rosario Dawson has confirmed that she's returning for Kevin Smith's upcoming third "Clerks" film. Dawson starred in the first sequel.

Dawson also says she doesn't know when it will begin filming, Smith has previously said he wants the film to be done and out in time for the film's 20th anniversary in November. [Source: Den of Geek]

Sights of Death
Rutger Hauer will join Danny Glover, Daryl Hannah, Stephen Baldwin and Michael Madsen in Alessandro Capone's sci-fi thriller "Sights Of Death" at AMBI Pictures. Filming begins later this month in Rome.

Set in the year 2047, Earth is ruled under one central government. A rebel agent is ordered to collect evidence with which to nail the military wing of the Government to his heinous crimes. Hauer plays the villain, the formidable Colonel Asimov. [Source: Screen]

The Dark Tower
A source for Schmoes Knows claim that Liam Neeson is interested in a major role in Ron Howards film trilogy & TV series adaptation of the Stephen King fantasy epic "The Dark Tower".

MRC and Imagine are also rumored to be considering a Netflix launch for the TV element of the adaptation.

Open
Jaimie Alexander ("Thor") has joined Ryan Murphy's HBO pilot "Open" as a series regular. The series is described as a modern, provocative exploration of human sexuality and relationships.

Michelle Monaghan, Scott Speedman, Wes Bentley, Anna Torv and Jennifer Jason Leigh play the five leads. Alexander will play Claire, the postpartum-suffering, pill-popping Stepford wife of Evan (Bentley). [Source: Deadline]
