Jason Momoa has denied reports that he's been linked to an unspecified role in Zack Snyder's "Batman Vs. Superman" project at Warner Bros. Pictures.

Momoa was linked with roles such as the villain Doomsday or JL member Martian Manhunter. Speaking with IGN, he says it's all just online speculation:

"It's just rumors. I want to say something amazing, but I can't comment on rumors. It's flattering. I'm not involved in it."

Asked if it was his muscular build and large stature that was behind the rumors, he responded:

"Maybe that's how it came out. Maybe someone said, 'You should be in this!' and I said, 'Yeah that would be great!' And it just went too far."

He did confirm that he auditioned for the role of Drax the Destroyer in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy"," a part that eventually went to Dave Bautista.
