Doctor Who
Production has begun in Cardiff on the eighth season of "Doctor Who," the first to star Peter Capaldi in the role of The Doctor. Filming runs through until August ahead of a premiere in the Fall.

In a sly cheat, the network has posted the first photo of Capaldi during his first full day of filming. The catch? He's not wearing his still unseen new costume, rather he's still dressed in Matt Smith's old clothes indicating they are filming scenes taking place immediately after the regeneration. [Source: BBC]

Teen Wolf
"Teen Wolf" returned to MTV on Monday night, the second half of the third season pulling in its best numbers so far - averaging 2.43 million viewers, up from 2.36 million for the June premiere. The network's 12-34 target demo garnered a 2.3 rating, female teens in particular tuned in with a 6.3 rating. [Source: The Live Feed]

Gotham
Danny Cannon ("Nikita," "CSI," "Tomorrow People") is set to direct and executive produce the first episode of Fox's high-profile Batman-prequel drama series "Gotham". The priority project has a series commitment.

"The Mentalist" creator Bruno Heller serves as show runner on the series which explores the origin stories of Commissioner James Gordon and the villains who made Gotham City famous. [Source: Deadline]
