BBC One has released the trailer for "His Last Vow," the third and final episode of the third series of "Sherlock" which airs in the UK on January 12th.
Holmes comes into conflict with Charles Augustus Magnussen, a master blackmailer who knows the personal weakness of every person of importance in the Western world.
The second episode aired on Sunday night in the UK to 8.84 million viewers for BBC One and a 31.9% share. That's down on the season premiere of 9.2 million, but still early Sunday’s most-watched program of the day by a clear margin.
The fourth season of "Downton Abbey" hit the United States last night, garnering an average 10.2 million viewers for PBS over the course of the two-hour episode.
That's a 22% jump from last year's premiere, and easily the highest-rated drama in PBS history. It also cements PBS' often questioned tactic of delaying the broadcast several months from its UK airing. [Source: The Live Feed]
