An international trailer, though some suggest it is the 2013 Cannes sizzle reel that briefly leaked a while back, has gone online for "The American" director Anton Corbijn's thriller "A Most Wanted Man".

Based on the John le Carré novel, the story follows a love triangle between a half-starved Russian man (Grigoriy Dobrygin) secreted into Hamburg, an idealistic German civil rights lawyer (Rachel McAdams), and a sixty-year-old man inheriting a failing British bank.

At the same time intelligence operatives from three countries move in on the trio, and the film explores the rivalries between intelligence agencies in a post-9/11 world. Robin Wright, Willem Dafoe and Daniel Brühl also star. The trailer is up at Apple Trailers.
