The BBC have released "Many Happy Returns," a seven-minute prequel mini-episode ahead of the third series premiere of "Sherlock" in the UK next week.
The short bridges the two year gap between the second and third series during the period when Cumberbatch's Holmes was legally dead, but was actually off seeing the world.
In the short, CSI Anderson tries to convey to Lestrade that Holmes is still alive by citing various mysterious cases of crimes being solved. Lestrade then visits Watson with a gift involving a disc recording of Holmes. Check it out for yourself at The BBC.
