While the old "X-Men" trilogy cast members won't be back for the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse," two familiar behind-the-scenes faces are returning.
"X2: X-Men United" and "Superman Returns" screenwriters Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris are reuniting with Bryan Singer for the next film in the X-Men series after next year's "X-Men: Days of Future Past".
Singer revealed the news in a photo tweet last night with the trio and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" screenwriter Simon Kinberg doing what he says is a "late night X-Men Apocalypse story session".
Still much remains unknown at this early stage about the film considering Singer only announced its existence two weeks ago. One thing he also tweeted though? "It's snowing in Egypt," a reference to the birth place of En Sabah Nur (aka. Apocalypse) in the comics.
