Though he's been linked for months, funny man Paul Rudd has now officially entered early talks to play the titular character of Hank Pym in Edgar Wright's "Ant-Man" at Marvel Studios.
Rudd and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were both considered for the role, but the latter has now turned his attention to the "Sandman" comic adaptation. Rudd was also considered a more natural fit.
Edgar Wright helms from a screenplay he co-wrote with Joe Cornish. No production schedule was yet been given.
