Hitfix TV Critics Top 12
Hitfix have unveiled their annual television critics poll in which a bunch of major TV critics list their top television shows of 2013. Preferential votes are then tallied, scored and added up.
The result was "Breaking Bad" winning by a landslide with 461 points. The rest of the Top 12 - "Orange is the New Black" (219 points), "Game of Thrones" (217), "The Good Wife" (189), "Masters of Sex" (141), "Mad Men" (132), "The Americans" (124), "House of Cards" (100), "Broadchurch" (88), "Top of the Lake" (84), "Enlightened" (82) and "Justified" (80). A.D.: The Bible 2
NBC has officially picked up the 12-hour miniseries "A.D.," the follow-up to History's "The Bible". 'Bible' creators Mark Burnett and Roma Downey are behind the follow-up which aims to air Spring 2015.
The story begins in the days after Jesus' betrayal and death. NBC aims to duplicate the success History Channel received with the original which debuted to 13.1 million viewers and held remarkably steady over its ten episodes. [Source: The Live Feed]
