Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Michael B. Jordan are in talks to star alongside Christoph Waltz and Cate Blanchett in John Hillcoat's "Triple Nine" at Anonymous Content.
The story follows a group of thieves (led by Ejiofor) who plan to kill a young LAPD officer (Affleck) to divert the police away from a daring heist they're perpetrating across town.
Jordan plays a cop secretly working for Ejiofor's character who partners up with Affleck's character in order to set the latter up. Affleck is replacing the previously linked Charlie Hunnam in the Megan Ellison-financed crime drama.
Matt Cook penned the script, while Keith Redmon, Brad Dorros and Steve Golin are producing. Shooting aims to begin next year.
