Expect Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man to swing to a whole different tune in his upcoming second outing.
Much in-demand "The Dark Knight" and "Man of Steel" composer Hans Zimmer is doing the music for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," replacing James Horner who did the first film.
Of this particular job, Zimmer previously said: "I have an idea but I haven't played it to anybody yet, so I don't even know if it's going to work yet. Because you never know, music is this weird indefensible thing, it either resonates with you or it doesn't. I'll either get the tone right or I won't, but it's serious experimentation time at the moment."
Today we may hear some of that experiment. Addictomovie has discovered an audio track within the official website for the film that comes from Zimmer and is though to be a variation of his new main Spider-Man theme.
To say it's different puts it mildly, it's a real throwback to big brassy and synthesizer heavy scores of the 80s and 90s. Of course this is just one minute from one number, but it does have some similarities to the music heard in last week's first trailer release.
