Sandra Bullock is in early talks to star in the political comedy "Our Brand Is Crisis" for Warner Bros. Pictures.
Peter Straughan ("The Men Who Stare at Goats") penned the film based on Rachel Boynton's 2005 documentary. That doco focused on the use of American political campaign strategies in Bolivia by President Clinton's former consultants James Carville and Stan Greenberg.
Bullock would play 'Calamity' Jane Bodine, a retired American political consultant who quotes famous people to hammer home her talking points.
Bullock's "Gravity" co-star George Clooney is set to produce the film along with his partner Grant Heslov. It's unclear if Clooney will co-star at this point, and he's is not expected to direct the film.
