"X-Force" comic book creator Rob Liefeld has revealed that Jeff Wadlow's script for the adaptation of that "X-Men" spin-off title is complete. Liefeld took to Twitter account to praise the take on the characters, though sadly didn't reveal much in regards to plotting or characters:
X-Force cast/film will please/appeal to fans of all eras. Wadlow carefully, cleverly navigates the legacy.— robertliefeld (@robertliefeld) December 3, 2013
Every film needs a proper script b4 they can cast&shoot. 1st mission accomplished for X-Force-When the casting begins we can scream together— robertliefeld (@robertliefeld) December 3, 2013
Wadlow, who wrote and directed "Kick Ass 2," had previously revealed that he wanted X-Force to have an edgier tone than X-Men. Despite the script being done, the green light has yet to be pulled so it's still a wait and see on which characters will make it into the new film.
