One of the most steadfast and reliable supporting actors around right now, actor Frank Grillo is also becoming a part of the Marvel Universe with his role as Brock Rumlow in next year's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".
In the comics, Brock becomes the villain Crossbones, leaving many to wonder if Marvel has plans for that to happen to his character in either this film or further sequels. Grillo tells Crave Online: "They do, actually. We'll see what happens. We'll see if the fans respond to Brock and how it goes."
Pressed further as to how close we'll come to seeing Crossbones in full, Grillo clammed up: "I can't say any of that because they will fire me... Marvel's very strict about what you're allowed to say."
Grillo did call the movie "an origin film" in which we'll: "meet people who are going to be around for a while, so they introduce the characters."
Grillo was also asked about the possibility of his character showing up on ABC's "Agents of SHIELD" series: "At this point in my career, it's something that I'm not really interested in doing," he said about an appearance on the television series. "Not that I don't want to do it, but it doesn't get me going anymore to do something like that."
