Additional filming is set to take place in Montreal before Christmas on Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past".
Quebec film commissioner Hans Fraikin confirms to The Calgary Herald that Singer and some of the cast and crew will be back to "shoot some extra scenes" for the project with this new block of filming set to take several weeks.
Filming on the latest instalment in the X-Men franchise began in Montreal in mid-April and wrapped in late August. The paper also claims the project is "the second-most expensive movie ever produced by 20th Century Fox, behind only Avatar."
Fraikin is also championing Montreal as the location to shoot Fox's "Independence Day" sequel which is expected to go before the cameras in 2015. The film's director Roland Emmerich is also said to be championing that the production take place in Montreal.
