Rumors swirled last week that "Girls" star Adam Driver was being looked at for the role of Dick Grayson in the upcoming "Batman vs. Superman" film at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Doing some press this weekend, Driver was very clear about the fact that the reports aren't true, telling Collider: "No. Not that I know of, no. If you find out, let me know, then I'll know."
He goes on to say: "[It's] intensely flattering as you can imagine. I mean, it's Batman and Superman, who doesn't want to be involved in something not only of that scale but of who those characters are. That's an incredible world to be able to be in for a bit. Like who wouldn't want to do that?"
The original story at The Wrap was the one that mentioned two other actors are in the mix for the role, this now calls into question all of that talk.
Driver's not lacking for roles though, on Friday he signed on to star in Saverio Costanzo's "Hungry Hearts". He and Alba Rohrwacher play a couple who meet by chance in New York City and develop the perfect love marriage and family, only to find their happiness in jeopardy and in a struggle for life or death.
