Mick Jagger is considering playing former Czech president Vaclav Havel in a new film about his life reports Ananova.
Havel told Czech newspaper Lidove novin that he and Jagger had discussed the idea and that the singer was really keen. Civil rights activist Havel, 68, is a close friend of the Rolling Stone, who co-owns the Jagged Films Production Company that has produced movies such as Enigma starring Kate Winslet.
Havel said it was not the first time a film about his life had been discussed. He was approached by Jane Fonda 15 years ago with a similar idea. "She wanted to make a film about me and my former wife Olga, with her playing Olga. It's probably a good thing that nothing came of it," he said.
Thanks to 'Edward'.
