Funnyman Chris Pratt's star continues to rise as the "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Moneyball" actor is being sought for a role in "Jurassic World" at Universal Pictures.
Discussions are said to be in very early stages, with Pratt's shooting commitments on TV's "Parks and Recreation" being one of several factors that could prevent it.
"Life of Pi" actor Irrfan Khan is also being sought for a role in the film which already stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins.
Josh Brolin had been circling the lead role but talks failed to lead to a deal. Colin Trevorrow is directing from a script he wrote with Derek Connolly. The film is currently slated for a June 12th 2015 release.
