Sony Pictures
Sony Pictures has pushed back the Jake Kasdan-directed comedy "Sex Tape" by two weeks to August 1st 2014. At the same time, its Jerry Bruckheimer-produced paranormal thriller "Beware The Night" has been moved up by six months from January 2015 to July 2nd 2014. [Source: Deadline]

The Angriest Man In Brooklyn
Lionsgate has picked up North American rights to the Phil Alden Robinson comedy "The Angriest Man In Brooklyn". A day and date theatrical/VOD specialty release is planned for really next year.

Robin Williams, Mila Kunis, Melissa Leo, Peter Dinklage and Hamish Linklater star in the film about a man who attempts to right all the wrongs in his life after being informed he has just ninety minutes left to live. [Source: Screen]

Hayao Miyazaki
Studio Ghibli 65-year-old producer Toshio Suzuki was recently asked about what acclaimed filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki will do now that he's retired from animated feature filmmaking.

Suzuki replied: "I think he will serialize a manga. From the beginning, he likes drawing about his favorite things. That's his stress relief. That's what he is drawing now. He'll get angry if I talk too much. Let's stop talking about this." [Source: Anime News Network]

Blended
Originally titled "Blended," then "The Familymoon," the upcoming Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore comedy at Warner Brothers is once again going by the name "Blended".
