Universal Pictures and Focus Features have announced that the highly anticipated "Fifty Shades of Grey" film adaptation has been pushed back a full six months.
Originally slated for an August 1st 2014 release, it will now open on February 13th 2015, just in time for both the Valentine's Day weekend and President's Day holiday.
Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson star in this adaptation of E.L. James' bestseller. Sam-Taylor Johnson is directing.
The delay comes as no surprise due to the casting and recent script re-writing which saw production pushed back at least a month.
