"Atonement" and "Hanna" filmmaker Joe Wright is in talks to direct a reimagining of J.M. Barrie's "Peter Pan" for Warner Bros. Pictures.
The project is described as giving Peter Pan the "Batman Begins" treatment, a story exploring the origins of the character and how he came to be the boy who never grew up.
Jason Fuchs ("Ice Age: Continental Drift") penned the script while "Arrow" showrunner Greg Berlanti is producing.
The project is not to be confused with various Pan-related projects in the works including the Channing Tatum-led "Pan" at Sony Pictures, or the Gary Ross-directed "Peter and the Starcatchers".
