A while back, digital modeler and sculptor Adam Ross published some photos of an unpainted, 3D printed mask that was created for a key scene in James Mangold's "The Wolverine" that got left on the cutting room floor.
The mask resembled that worn by the classic yellow and black costumed comics version of Wolverine. As Jackman doesn't actually wear the mask in the scene, no actual mask had to be created from fabric - Ross 3D printed it and added some texturing and color to make it look like a real mask.
Now, a new multi-touch eBook promo for the upcoming Blu-ray release of the film has revealed the scene in question - an extended and alternate version of the film's final plane scene. You can see it for yourself below.
