The talk about Olga Kurylenko being up for "Batman vs Superman" looks to have been confirmed by Variety.

The trade doubles down on the Schmoes Know scoop from the other day, and adds that Gal Gadot ("Fast and Furious") and Elodie Yung ("G.I. Joe: Retaliation") are the three names that are testing for the female lead in "Batman vs Superman."

While many have speculated that all the testing is for the role of Wonder Woman, it's now appearing that a different plan may be in store regarding the DC heroes in the film.

Yes the character they are testing for is "tall, brunette, athletic and exotic". However, there's indications the role could well be that of a love interest for Bruce Wayne. Does that mean there's no Wonder Woman? Not exactly.

THR's Borys Kit has tweeted that "Wonder Woman will not be in Supes vs Batman. But a certain Diana may show up. And I'm pretty confident these tests are not for WW, who will have a minor minor role. This is Supes vs Bats. Not Supes vs Bats vs WW."

This jives with Variety's report that "Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) and the Flash are said to be locks to make an appearance in some fashion, whether that’s a significant role or a cameo."

Expect to hear more about "Batman vs Superman" this weekend following a Q&A session about "Man of Steel" on Saturday with director Zack Snyder.
