It has "Arrow," it will soon have "The Flash," and it's still trying to develop a Wonder Woman series with "Amazon". Now, The CW network is looking into a series adaptation of yet another DC Comics hero title - "Hourman".
The series version, which sounds decidedly different to the comic, follows a brilliant-yet-troubled pharmaceutical analyst who learns the visions that have plagued him since childhood are actually glimpses of tragic events occurring one hour in the future.
Determined to win back his ex-wife and son, he heroically prevents these tragedies from unfolding, finding redemption along the way.
Michael Caleo ("Ironside," "The Sopranos") will pen the script and executive produce alongside Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz. If it goes forward it will be one of potentially four new DC comics properties coming to TV next season, alongside 'Flash,' NBC's Hellblazer adaptation "Constantine" and Fox's Batman prequel "Gotham".
