They star in two films that have just begun rolling out, and now they've been linked (albeit tenuously) to two of the biggest films of 2015.
First up is Jaimie Alexander, the always fun actress who plays the Asgardian warrior Sif in "Thor: The Dark World". Blogger Mark Hughes attended a panel at this year's Stan Lee's ComiKaze convention over the weekend, which Alexander was involved in.
He tweeted, and then later confirmed in his Forbes.com write-up that Alexander has been having "conversations" with Warner Bros. Pictures/DC. She also says she knows things about the story of the "Batman vs. Superman" film that aren't known to the public just yet.
This has led to the conclusion that she has been approached for some sort of role in the film, and that role could be Wonder Woman as has been speculated.
Meanwhile, The Times has done a piece on J.J. Abrams' upcoming new book "S" and while getting that interview, the reporter came upon "12 Years A Slave" star Chiwetel Ejiofor waiting in the Bad Robot offices.
The reporter immediately thought Ejiofor was meeting with Abrams regarding a role in "Star Wars: Episode VII" and so asked the filmmaker straight up if that was the case. The response? "I can't discuss casting... but he's a very talented gentleman."
