Ali G: Rezurection
Actor and comedian Sacha Baron Cohen has signed a first look TV deal with FX Productions. The deal kicks off with the FXX channel to premiere previously unaired episodes of his landmark 2003 comedy series "Da Ali G Show" which originally aired on HBO.
Dubbed "Ali G: Rezurection," the run kicks off February 2014 and will include every episode made of the series, even the few which HBO didn't air. It will also feature new introductions from Baron Cohen. [Source: The Live Feed]
ABC has given full-season orders to its new sitcoms "The Goldbergs" and "Trophy Wife", plus an additional four eps for "Super Fun Night".
Their other comedy, "Back In The Game," has been cancelled but will air the remainder of its original 13-episode order. [Source: Deadline]
The Client List
Lifetime has cancelled is Jennifer Love Hewitt-led series "The Client List" after two seasons. The decision was made after failed lengthy negotiations with Hewitt.
Reports emerged the other month that Hewitt reportedly wanted her real-life relationship and pregnancy with co-star Brian Hallisay written into the show, which isn't what the producers had in mind. [Source: The Live Feed]
Years of Living Dangerously
The trailer has premiered for the new Showtime documentary series from executive producers James Cameron, Jerry Weintraub, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The series is slated to premiere in April.
Jessica Alba, Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, America Ferrara, Harrison Ford, Michael C. Hall, Olivia Munn and Ian Somerhalder are amongst the celebrities who have travel the world in the series which explores the impact of global warming on real people.
