Sir Ben Kingsley revealed the other week that he and some of the "Iron Man 3" crew members had reunited for a "secret Marvel project" about which he wasn't allowed to say anything.
"IRON MAN 3" SPOILERS AHEAD
So what was it? No-one knew at the time, with the most common speculation being that it would be another 'One-Shot' Marvel short film that would effectively erase the 'twist' about The Mandarin character in "Iron Man 3" that upset many a comic book fan.
According to a source for Latino Review, the actual answer is... just that:
"Marvel knows deep down that what they did with the Mandarin character in Iron Man 3 was straight up 'EXPLETIVE REMOVED'.
According to sources, Marvel wants to make it up to fans so in the one shot, the REAL Mandarin is furious with Aldrich Killian and Ben Kingsley's character Trevor Slattery for the mockery they made of the real Mandarin's identity and legacy.
The real Mandarin wants to set the record straight. Yes, the REAL Mandarin. How is he going to set the record straight? That I don't know. Who is going to play the real Mandarin? Don't know either. Wait and see."
