The reported return of Harrison Ford as Han Solo for the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII" may have more to it than first thought.
Jedi News has posted a report from a source explaining how the agreement between Ford and Disney came together. According to them:
A verbal agreement was apparently already in place, with financial settlements settled out over the Summer. Disney wanted a multi-film deal and they apparently have got it.
Ford was shown the story arc for his character's development over the new trilogy and is happy with it.
An outline is being developed for an "Indiana Jones 5" which is to be submitted by the end of calendar year 2014. If all parties can agree to moving forward, the film would be in cinemas sometime in 2016.
